Old guy is called Clifford and has some bizarre Swiss/anglophonic accent I can't quite place. He's the fashion guy.

Sadly, the German version does not have a food and drink consultant, and thus no special evening at home (although the apartment is made over with an obviously smaller budget than the US version). Made-over hetero in the first episode thus gave a poetry-reading (!) in a hip book store picked out by one of the consultants, and the Fabulous Four where in the audience, not behind a hidden door.

In the German show, they drive a Hummer.
