Ours went on last night courtesy of the mayor and the football club. I think Portsmouth blew its celeb budget on getting the Cheeky Girls in for Bonfire Night.

Is it possible they could've done this in such a way as to not make it impossible for me to get home from work before 8pm tonight?

I finished work at 4 PM today but I'm still in the office because I'm terrified to go outside (that's assuming I can actually get outside in the first place).

I hope it's less crazy in an hour, because I actually -have- to leave then.

I forgot about this, but luckily the crowd outside st. Paul's wasn't too big.

Does that mean the Tokyo style diagonal crossing at Oxford Circus is finished? I heard that they were meant to ensure it was by the time the lights went on.
