What kind of ID do you carry in your wallet?

OK, maybe we've done this before, but this is inspired by my paranoia of the new UK ID cards.

Here I am, terrified of ID cards, yet I still carry around with me EVERY DAY American ID cards which I haven't needed in five years.

I carry:

-New York Drivers License
-US Social Security Card
-Permanent Resident Card i.e. "Green Card"

Why do I still carry this stuff? And what do you still carry?

drivers' license is the only photo ID i have.

I'm not just talking Photo IDs. I'm talking any kind of governmental identification. (So obviously, bank cards and credit cards don't count, even though they are more effective forms of ID than most...)

The only photo one is my university staff card. I used to have a 'ProveIt' card still lurking there somewhere but I lost my wallet recently - luckily I am pretty sure I look over 18 nowadays.

I've been carrying around my EU passport in my wallet for maybe 3 years, just because I lost my photo ID and never bothered to get a new one. Stupid really because I need a valid ID like 3 times a day at least, and losing the passport in some club may not be the best idea and that will eventually happen.

Well, seeing as how only 7 people can be bothered to reply to my thread, I suppose the government will have a hard time actually implementing any kind of ID that people carry around with them on a regular basis. Sigh.
