Driving home after a great night out with friends down a practically deserted highway whilst listening to Prince's Purple Rain album at full volume: classic or CLASSIC?

This was one of the best days I've had in a long time. The weather was beautiful, had a great 2 hour lunch with friends, actually got some work done, caught up with a couple of friends I hadn't seen in a long time, was able to help my girlfriend finish her last essay of the year, and smiled almost continuously for some reason.

As for the title of this post, I can only suggest you try it.

Only classic if the sun is rising when you get to the title track.

Hey! I drunkenly listened to Purple Rain last night! It was great!

Whenever I experience a moment similar to this the next day is utter shite

So classic I'd cry. Though I'd probably cheat and play "I Would Die 4U" and "Baby I'm A Star" off the tape afterwards just like Prince does in the movie!

four months pass...

I watched Purple Rain again for the first time in ages last night. I still defy anyone to not want to hang out with Morris Day after watching that movie.
