Not a lot. Fungus the bogeyman pop up book by Raymond Briggs for 75p in a charity shop, and some beer.

Nathalie, check out the basketball diaries if you can and his LP (Catholic boy?) is pretty good in a kind of Springsteenesque way.

A cassette of George Jones' 20 Years of Hits for $3.99. A couple of cds--The Best of Ute Lemper and The Best of the Edwin Hawkins Singers- -$8.00 each. And some albums for a buck each--Liza's early 70s pop cover album The Singer, Rusty Warren-Knockers Up!, Lena Zavaroni-If My Friends Could See Me Now, Bobbi Martin-With Love (featuring "For the Love of Him") and the one I'm most excited about: Dr. West's Medicine Show and Junk Band-The Eggplant That Ate Chicago. I heart Norman Greenbaum. Of course, there's no record player at my parents house, so I've got to wait till I get back to LA to hear the vinyl.

cds (like you expected anything else): low's "things we lost in the fire," jan jelinek's "loop-finding jazz records," prefuse 73's "vocal studies...," dirty three's "ocean songs," and mouse on mars' "iaora tahiti."

Ohmygod, I buy so much crap. Um, today I bought some DVDs off of anoher girl at work for a few bucks, she's trying to unload them, they were American History X, High Fidelity, Swingers and Animal House. Yesterday I bought a black turtleneck, a light brown turtleneck, a gold sweater, and this slightly-too-see-thru purple pajama shirt, and a purple bra and thong. The day before that I bought nothing, for the first time in ages.
