I don't know how you, in California, could make fun of me, in Canada!

(note call me to hear me recite this line in my brilliant Chretien imitation, $2.99/min)

So we went from the PM chocking and tossing aside a protestor to a hockey fight. Geez, your shtick is getting thinner and thinner.

dyson (dyson), Friday, 14 November 2003 20:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, politicians are scumbags by nature, and I think JC has been at least a fun scumbag and fairly transparently so, and I think he at least acknowledged a few times that Gov't SHOULD have strong social policies.

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 14 November 2003 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Shelia Copps as much as she grates, would fill me with more hope for Liberals not falling into mass corruption. Jean and Mel said some wounderful things. Martin and Miller seem so wooden in comparison.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 14 November 2003 20:53 (twenty-two years ago)

it's hard not to seem wooden compaired to mel.
miller is wonderful regardless.

dyson (dyson), Friday, 14 November 2003 20:58 (twenty-two years ago)

He's better then Tory thats for sure. But The Star has a wonderful graphic about the election. Do we have a Etobichoke, North York, Scarborough vs Toronto and York fight coming up or not?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 14 November 2003 21:03 (twenty-two years ago)

mel? lastman?
miller? randy?

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 14 November 2003 21:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Miller does deserve a strong slap to the back of the head for that tolls on the DVP idea.

I thought his remarks on marijuana were hilarious. I try to imagine an American politician saying something like this..

The 69-year-old prime minister has never smoked marijuana, he says, but he joked in an interview this week he might be willing to give it a try once it's decriminalized. Chretien made the joke in an Ottawa interview with the Winnipeg Free Press published in Friday's paper.

Chretien was asked how it felt to have bills for decriminalizing marijuana and legalizing same-sex marriages as the exclamation points to his lengthy political career.

"I don't know what is marijuana," Chretien replied.
"Perhaps I will try it when it will no longer be criminal. I will have my money for my fine and a joint in the other hand."
