The Enforcer!

For me it's a toss up between High Plains Drifter, For A Few Dollars More, A Fist Full of Dollars, Dirty Harry, Thunderbolt&Lightfoot, A Perfect World, The Beguiled, The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Gauntlet, Play Misty For Me, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Kelly's Heroes, Escape From Alcatraz, The Unforgiven, or Hang 'em High.

hmmm...maybe Tightrope.

As actor, probably Fistful Of Dollars, as director certainly Unforgiven.

Yeah, Escape From Alcatraz was very good too...thanks for reminding me Scott....

Just saw Mystic River (he directed) and it was awesome!
Had everything going for it...excellent writing (i was already a fan of Dennis Lehane's novel), terrif acting, and there were two seperate incidences where I felt vertigo.
Also, a cameo by Eli Wallach (who was "THE UGLY").

How is Gauntlet? It's part of my Lolita homework.

Coogan's Bluff...Clint as the Arizona deputy sheriff in 60s psychedelic New York, complete with a great sixties night club scene at the 'Pigeon Toed Orange Peel'...

Groovy...

twelve years pass...

Just turned off the eiger sanction

I was actually offended, which youll imagine is rare enough

Reading trevanians wiki, seems it was written as a spoof, which explains a lot.

Haven't seen it for a while, but I want to say "A Perfect World" is really good. Regardless, what an insanely weird filmography, so many different types of movies with guns. And the ones without are all over the place, too.

^ some great "Barrack Hussein Obama, people forget about the Hussein but I think it's important" humour there.

last 10 minutes of A Perfect World are rather terrible

Supercreditor (Dr Morbius), Saturday, 22 July 2017 14:16 (eight years ago)

What happens at the end? Anyway, Eastwood in particular is really good in it, iirc.

Josh in Chicago, Saturday, 22 July 2017 17:27 (eight years ago)

A Perfect World is so good it's annoying. I really don't care about Eastwood, but then there is A Perfect World.

There's separating art and the artist, and then there's giving more chances to the guy who made The Eiger Sanction.
