Which is better?

Hmmm, a tricky decision...whilst misery is a very unpleasent emotion at least it allows the sufferer to become introspective and work through the problem and maybe work themselves out of it. Alternatively, unconscious implies a lack of knowing, escapism and acceptance of a situation...and no real solution or direction. So, I think I would rather be miserable, as I have more of a chance of working myself out of it.

Miserable. Even when I am very upset I get a little thrill out of it, and it is comforting to know i am not numb by nature. I'd rather be unconscious than bored, though.

i would rather be unconscious. it shows in the fact that when i am miserable i will try to sleep, and failing that i will try to drink myself unconscious.

Unconscious - it can be so much fun!

Miserable. Coz if I'm unconscious, I'll still be miserable when I wake up, and the Jack Daniels will be gone.
