orange and yellow hair

Ah, the slippery slope of color-repair. Bite the bullet and head to a salon, it will only save you money.

when i bleached my hair and it was too yellow for me, i went to sally beauty supply and bought some of the old lady dye, like 'pearl grey' or something like that. it worked OK. one of the lines that is like punky colors but different has a tub of something that looks lavender but tones down brassiness.

that said, i never managed to get rid of all the orange-ness. i really wanted white-blonde, and it just didn't work. probably worth getting it done by a pro.

once i was done with that, i covered it up with a dark purple/black, which did the trick.

and whatever you do, don't use henna! you can't get rid of it, can only cut it out...

where do you live, by the way? might know cheap salons to hit...
