You're wasting your time.

NA (Nick A.), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 16:28 (twenty-two years ago)

FOR THE LAST FUCKING TIME PRO-TOOLS DOES NOT EQUAL PROCESSING!

It's like saying when you hear Duane Eddy's guitar "Oh thats all 2" tape". If anything causes that effect its Antares Autotune.

Jesus Christ it's like talking to art critics who don't know what a brush is.

Lynskey (Lynskey), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 16:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Does Jess's "..." count? That one inexplicably pisses me off.

NA (Nick A.), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 16:31 (twenty-two years ago)

It was funny the first couple times, then...sigh:

Sarah McLusky (coco), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 17:09 (twenty-two years ago)

The problem with this thread title is a semantic paradox. If someone did hilariously post the same message into every thread, the message would be, by definition, hilarious. However, were the joke to rapidly pall, then it would not be hilarious and therefore not worthy of this thread. QED.

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 17:11 (twenty-two years ago)

both, please.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 17:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Also, the guy in the many-axled car is still funny.

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 17:11 (twenty-two years ago)

A joke usually, but not necessarily always, loses hilarity with repetition. Hence, there is no contradiction.

NA (Nick A.), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 17:12 (twenty-two years ago)

However, none of the above are hilarious anymore. Thanks.

NA (Nick A.), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 17:12 (twenty-two years ago)

mark -- hilarious here means 'not at all hilarious'. it's that famous british wit, y'see!

ironique (Enrique), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 17:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Actually it means "let's be dicks yet again for no apparent reason" in this context, enrique.

Anyway hey!!

wait, how does this all differ from the "ILX Cliche" thread?

Jeremy the Kingfish (Kingfish), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 18:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Ich poopen zuviel

Labia, Tuesday, 18 November 2003 19:03 (twenty-two years ago)

ha ha good one Oops! That had to bounce around in the ol' brain-cavity for a second.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 19:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Well this thread was originally about people like the I POOP TOO MUCH guy who seemingly opens every thread one after the other and posts his bullshit without reading the thread, which is different from an ILX cliche, which is usually said in some kind of context, but it has devolved into a ILX cliche thread.

NA (Nick A.), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 19:23 (twenty-two years ago)

God, Nick, do you HAVE to bring that up in EVERY thread?
;-)

Sarah McLusky (coco), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 19:24 (twenty-two years ago)
