Well, definitely not the Togo's in Westwood, but that street fully examines this predicament as all three sandwich shops are within 100 feet of each other. Still, I go with Togo's. They have the big bread that Subway does not and you don't have the fear of cutting your mouth in half on toasted bread. Togo's all the way biatchez!

What, have you no Mr Sub?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 18:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Togos is way better that Subway or Quiznos. I really like their mayonaisse.

Kris (aqueduct), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 18:19 (twenty-two years ago)

NO MR. SUB!

I must admit, while it is less hearty the Subway meatball sub tastes better than Quiznos's's or Togos's's's'. BUT! Togo's is better in general. Also, Quizno's'ssss' has those terrible ads with the meaty cheesy sandwich thing that just looks gross. GROSS.

From the article "Quiznos Sub Becomes the Second Largest Submarine Sandwich Chain in the World as it opens its 2,000th Restaurant" ...

On June 24, 2002, Quiznos Sub was named the fastest growing sandwich chain by Nation’s Restaurant News, the industry’s leading trade magazine. Quiznos is currently expanding at a rate of one new store every 16 hours.

Okay, if that's 2000 stores x 16 hours rate at which a new store is opened (!!!) = 32,000 / 24 hours in a day = 1333.~3 days it took to create all 2000 stores. The Quizno's chain has been in operation for 1333.~3 days / 365.25 days in a year = 3.~65 years. Lies! It's been a chain for 22 years. LIES! QUIZNOS! THIS IS WHY TOGOS IS BETTER THEY ARE NOT LIARS!!!!

It was probably during that month of June 2002. Either way,
lies!!!!

If you go to Quizno's, make sure to get yours made on the Ciabatta bread. I think it's the best available bread at any of the three places. Togo's has the best Pastrami and chicken breast. Quizno's has the best coldcuts - plus the free pepper bar which is pretty awesome. Subway is kinda gross, but usually the most convenient and cheapest.

Togo's sucks worse than both.. see other thread.

Their bread tastes like baked mud.

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 18:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I haven't ever been to Togo's so I'm still kind of holding out hope for it, but the other two suck

Vic (Vic), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 18:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, as a hippie veggie dude, neither Togo's nor Quizno's has the

VEGGIE MAXX!!!

Best veggie patty ever made.

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 18:48 (twenty-two years ago)

/me punches donut bitch

Veggie Maxx? Is that like Burger Pipe?

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 18:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Blimpie's it is. The veggie max is the second-best non-meat patty for me, after the Mexi-max. I do like Quizno's non-meat/non-patty one, though -- as long as they don't put on much guacamole.

Andy K (Andy K), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 18:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Another reason for choosing Togo's over Quizno's:

avocado > guacamole

It is and you know it. And you hate that it's true.

Was there any fucking point to starting a new thread for this?

NA (Nick A.), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 19:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I guess as much point as discussing Quizno's vs Subway.

(Does that help?)

/me punches donut bitch
kick kick punch it's all in the mind

Veggie Maxx? Is that like Burger Pipe?

Not quite. It's like someone designed a mushroomy-"chicken"y tasting soy patty the shape of a mouse pad.

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 19:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Quiznos and Subway are both ok, but they have different strengths. Quiznos has the better meat and generally better tasting sub. Subway is cheaper and depending where you go, can have pretty good bread, if you like chewy white bread. However, I think I need to find a real sub place one of these days.

dleone (dleone), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 19:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Was there any fucking point to starting a new thread for this?

Yes, obviously.

It's like someone designed a mushroomy-"chicken"y tasting soy patty the shape of a mouse pad.

I'll have to look for it. Right after I try Salmonpipe.

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 19:46 (twenty-two years ago)
