Are there any? I can't think of a single decent one. Sure, there are movies with Thanksgiving scenes, but are there any movies that are based mostly around Thanksgiving? If so, what? I am looking for something to Netflix for the holiday...

Home for the Holidays, I think. With Holly Hunter..? Thanksgiving/family chaos, hilarity? Something like that.

Just watch Christmas movies. That's what my family does for Thanksgiving.

Maybe I should just spend Thanksgiving with you guys, then? I don't like cranberries, fyi.

Do I like stuffing? Because we could switch.

Extra points for anything with Gene Wilder in it.

It's all about football. Rent 'Paper Lion'.

Sorry, I didn't clarify. My family is not made up of latent homosexuals. So football, not an option.

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 20:02 (twenty-one years ago)

your family is made up of blatent homosexuals then?

cinniblount (James Blount), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 20:03 (twenty-one years ago)

It is not surprising that blatant and flagrant are often confused, since the words have overlapping meanings. Both attribute conspicuousness and offensiveness to certain acts. Blatant emphasizes the failure to conceal the act. Flagrant, on the other hand, emphasizes the serious wrongdoing inherent in the offense. Certain contexts may admit either word depending on what is meant: a violation of human rights might be either blatant or flagrant. If it was committed with contempt for public scrutiny, it is blatant. If its barbarity was monstrous, it is flagrant. ·Blatant is sometimes used to mean simply “obvious,” as in the blatant danger of such an approach, but this use has not been established and is widely considered an error.

so, yes.
