gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 22:38 (twenty-one years ago)

If this is anything to do with Blur, I'm going to be really disappointed.

Vic (Vic), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 22:44 (twenty-one years ago)

As much as I love Ned, the fact that he refuses to see the Matrix (the first one!) makes me want to tear my hair out. This is exacerbated by his dissin' on Matrix threads! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 22:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 23:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Beat me beat me

For ten thousand years
Beat me beat me

I love you
Be your dog
For just one flog
You don't hear me plead
For you to make me bleed
Beat me beat me
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh

Well use a truncheon or a cricket bat
Beat me beat me
A good beatings really where its at
Beat me beat me

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 01:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah, whatever. *settles in with first disc, says goodbye to rest of world for four hours*

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 02:05 (twenty-one years ago)

(although I will add that my mom just called me to confirm I had picked it up and for to her to say that she was watching it too -- see, it runs in the family, but in reverse)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 02:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, but this strain of faboy-ness runs down the mother's side only of course. So if your dad loves Douglas Adams, for example, you're safe.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 02:10 (twenty-one years ago)

i bet $10 that tonight Ned Raggett is eating microwaveable something while watching video something whilst diddling on the computer.

Orbit (Orbit), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 05:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Well, I'm on the computer now, but not watching a video, nor was the food I had earlier microwaved.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 06:29 (twenty-one years ago)

I somehow doubt that Mr Raggett often has cause to use the microwave.,

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 07:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Not after a childhood spent on nuclear submarines, no.

Casuistry (Chris P), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 08:24 (twenty-one years ago)

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:14 (twenty-one years ago)

NA (Nick A.), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:20 (twenty-one years ago)

and...trippin his nut sack into a frenzy of dik play.

Chris B. Sure (Chris V), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:22 (twenty-one years ago)

I have doubts about your suggestions.

(Needless to say the extended Two Towers leaves me a very happy man.)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I heard there were more pipeweed jokes.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:43 (twenty-one years ago)

I GOT THE MUSIC IN ME

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:49 (twenty-one years ago)

three weeks pass...
what about tomorrow night?

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 15 December 2003 18:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Soon, soon.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 15 December 2003 18:52 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't blame Ned. I spent yesterday watching both of the extended versions in order. I'm no fanboy but those two movies are FAR more entertaining than Star Wars or Star Trek. I hear the third delivers. Also, don't get me started on the Matrix.

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Monday, 15 December 2003 19:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I will be in all day meetings tomorrow, so I can just imagine. I'm gonna try to hit a Friday pm show (doubtful).

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 15 December 2003 19:07 (twenty-one years ago)

ILX is getting me late today, as I just bought my ticket for ROTK's midnight show tomorrow night! I'm tempted to go all girly, but nah.

I be way excited, yo.

(Now, I'm off to celebrate Saddam's payback elsewhere...)

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Monday, 15 December 2003 21:45 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm no fanboy but those two movies are FAR more entertaining than Star Wars or Star Trek. I hear the third delivers.

If I can, I'll let you know Wednesday morn. Clearly, Dean, you belong to us.....

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Monday, 15 December 2003 21:48 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey, Ned, did you get the CDs? (I'm too lazy to email you to ask at the moment.)

, Monday, 15 December 2003 23:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Am I a freak for never having seen any of the LOTR films?

Andrew (enneff), Monday, 15 December 2003 23:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Andrew, I could say yes, sci-fi segregation isn't my bag.

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Monday, 15 December 2003 23:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey, Ned, did you get the CDs? (I'm too lazy to email you to ask at the moment.)

I did and they're fantastic! Thanks very much!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 15 December 2003 23:56 (twenty-one years ago)

If I can, I'll let you know Wednesday morn. Clearly, Dean, you belong to us.....

I dunno if I'd go that far. But i think these movies are so impressive that they stand head and shoulders above the rest. A friend of mine was at the premiere for the film and I hold his opinion very highly in regards to big blockbusters, so you should have a good time.

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 01:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I did and they're fantastic! Thanks very much!

Least I can do for you, Ned! Anything for the man who popped my MBV-cherry.

, Tuesday, 16 December 2003 04:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Wowzer!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 04:39 (twenty-one years ago)

To say nothing of Talk Talk, Spiritualized, Depeche Mode, Mercury Rev, Mogwai, The Sundays, St. Etienne, Placebo, Catherine Wheel, Pulp, Prodigy, ODB, Ministry, The Church, Ride, Flying Saucer Attack, L7, The Cranes, Portishead, The Flaming Lips, Lycia...fuck it, that 136 of the 90's is where I emerged from the primordeal ooze.

, Tuesday, 16 December 2003 05:12 (twenty-one years ago)
