So I am planning a nice relaxing bath later, lots of bubbles, red wine, a book & candles. What music would you choose?

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I usually load up winamp with droney things like Lush and Sigur Ros.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Metallica - Creeping Death (on repeat/loop)

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:46 (twenty-two years ago)

analogue bubblebath?

chris (chris), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:47 (twenty-two years ago)

or the new Explosions in the Sky LP. But i still say Metallica would suffice.

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Lemon Jelly "In the Bath"!!!!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Metallica? I would never listen to them on any occassion.

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Wilco, My Bloody Valentine, Mary Timony, Mirah, The Microphones, Neil Young, Elliott Smith, Magnetic Fields, Nick Drake, Love, Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys

Sarah McLusky (coco), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I like stuff I can sing along to usually, stuff with lots of good vocal harmonies and stuff to hide how offkey I am.

NA (Nick A.), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 14:59 (twenty-two years ago)

PJ & Duncan AKA.

Sarah (starry), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Beethoven's 6th Symphony

Jeremy the Kingfish (Kingfish), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Bobby Darin - Splish Splash
Dream Warriors - You Wash Your Face in my Sink
Um...

Madchen (Madchen), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I think NA is otm, something you know and can sing along to.
Love could be the way to go. Not really been aware of Elliot Smith until recently (for obvious reasons) & because of this I have managed to hear lots of his stuff. I think that could be good at the moment.

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Cocteau Twins, but then I think I'm the only person in the world who still listens to them. When I was in my first year of university I used to take a long bath every Tuesday afternoon and most of those days I listened to the first Smiths album. When "Reel Around The Fountain" would start up I'd instantly relax which I suppose makes me a freak. Maybe don't listen to me, Pinkpanther.

Bryan (Bryan), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:22 (twenty-two years ago)

The incomparable beauty that is the music of John Fahey.

Don't listen to indie music, it makes the water tepid.

Mikey G (Mikey G), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't listen to indie music, it makes the water tepid.

Damnit!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:56 (twenty-two years ago)

When I'm in the bath I always listen to Bob Dylan.

And vice-versa.

Mikey G (Mikey G), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:58 (twenty-two years ago)

nice!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Citizen Kate (kate), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Mikey G (Mikey G), Thursday, 20 November 2003 11:46 (twenty-two years ago)

I watched the first half of the football. I actually took none of your suggestions & listened to....nothing. It was great!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 20 November 2003 11:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Next time you should invite some friends and have a rulin' bath party.

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 20 November 2003 12:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Madchen, may I ask exactly how long you've been waiting to unleash that behemoth of japery? ;o)

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 20 November 2003 12:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Cocteau Twins, but then I think I'm the only person in the world who still listens to them.

Dream on. I adore the Cocteau Twins, but I think any of the three This Mortal Coil albums would be better suited to a bath.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Thursday, 20 November 2003 13:29 (twenty-two years ago)

That bloke from the Cocteau Twins could do with a bath. Hairy fucker.

Mikey G (Mikey G), Thursday, 20 November 2003 14:08 (twenty-two years ago)
