It's two hours long and some dude has a 3-D model so I say, YES!

I'm looking forward to it, anybody else?

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:33 (twenty-two years ago)

I presume its the same as the Channel 4 one being shown over here, but with different narration.

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:36 (twenty-two years ago)

c4: it was the cia!
abc: it was mi6!

enrique (Enrique), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Oliver Stone: Buy the DVD!

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I can't wait. I haven't seen a JFK conspiracy show in ages. Also, if you watch the Zapruder film it clearly shows the driver turning around and shooting JFK. So really you don't have to watch ABC.

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:41 (twenty-two years ago)

and then you see a bird poop into the open head wound! OH NOES!

Jeremy the Kingfish (Kingfish), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Back...and to the left.

Woody Harrelson's Dad (daveb), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:46 (twenty-two years ago)

I rented the Zapruder DVD, and it is much clearer that he was shot from the back. But some of the conspiracy people now say that it was doctored.

I like the theory about the umbrella guy, where the umbrella shoots some projectile into Kennedy's head.

Also the theory about JFK committing suicide by having himself assassinated.

Kerry (dymaxia), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Was DiMaggio ever fully investigated?

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:51 (twenty-two years ago)

what 'president kennedy'? he's a massive myth perpetrated upon us by nixon! don't you fools see it?!

enrique (Enrique), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:52 (twenty-two years ago)

seriously, i think the JFK Conspiracy possibilities seems awfully quaint and even Norman Rockwellian in light of what passes for public disclosure these days

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Huckleberry so OTM and not just cuz it's very similar to what I was gonna post!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 15:55 (twenty-two years ago)

bollocks. the president assassinated by the teamsters, cubans, mob and cia -- less shocking than what exactly?

Shadow governments, old business partners being appointed heads of freshly-conquered countries in which their first act is to reinstate a pipeline project they themselves benefit from, not-so-sneaky shift from democratic republic to police state, etc.

x-post ahoy!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Coincidence?...or Conspiracy?

Girolamo Savonarola, Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:02 (twenty-two years ago)

oh, that...

enrique (Enrique), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:02 (twenty-two years ago)

and the fact that Ruben beat Clay

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:03 (twenty-two years ago)

None of it is shocking at all...enrique, are you an American? I guess it depends on where you live. I don't think old-school Chicagoans would be shocked by anything.

Kerry (dymaxia), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:05 (twenty-two years ago)

When I was in college some dude came and gave a lecture on the JFK assasintation. Really fascinating, but I was on weed so i don't remember.

Chris B. Sure (Chris V), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:07 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm american as anyone, and i'm shocked, i tell ye! when did chicago start invading middle eastern dictatorships?

enrique (Enrique), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:07 (twenty-two years ago)

My entire time in college was spent smoking weed and reading conspiracy books. I don't remember any of them either. Coincidence? I think not.

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Am I the only one here who loves Paranoia (the magazine)?

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Keith Hernandez did it.

Chris B. Sure (Chris V), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:10 (twenty-two years ago)

I think we need one of the moderators to put (Spoilers) in the thread title.

Horace I've never heard of this magazine. What can you tell us about it?

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:20 (twenty-two years ago)

http://www.paranoiamagazine.com/

it's awesome, it's like ILX, but even more, uh, what's the polite word, homemade. There's everything from the obvious Nostradamus predicted 9/11 to the truly bizarre pieces about pop culture figures.
They also published a Conspiracy Reader a while back that features some of the best stuff. Particularly the Star Trek as Psychological Warfare article.
I think it's quarterly. It's fun and even thought-provoking sometimes.

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 16:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Everyone knows it was actually Roger McDowell.
