Hey, guys.

I dunno if you've been following my work search at all, but I (obviously) got that job I've interviewed (3 times) for in Chicago. I've already accepted it but I'm calling back tomorrow to discuss my start date. Regardless, I'm giving notice Monday.

I'm happy about leaving my job too. I'll be talking to the guy who hired me today to find out my start date and then you can all help me compose a resignation letter.

It's an administrative position working for this company that does interiors, mostly for the government, but it's a start.

The rep from the Chicago office asked me when I wanted to start and implied I could start after xmas. So, I just called him to say honestly January 2nd would be most convenient, but I'm flexible and open to suggestions. And then he said he'd have to ask the other 2 folks (who interviewed me, those were the ones who kept asking if I could be there in 2 weeks) if that would be ok. Then he'll call me back. Will my nerves ever be calmed?!

I'm glad I called him back though because I really want to know what kind of schedule I'm working with re: quitting, moving, so on.
