I just met him the other week. He was giving a speech about his "superdistrict" proposal (basically proportional government). Anyway he was a nice and passionate guy: Washington could do worse.

But Novoselic is attracted by what he sees as the bully pulpit opportunities of lieutenant governor, a job whose biggest public role is presiding over the state Senate during the legislative session.

Krist presiding over the Senate? That idea scares me witless.
