A friend of a friend needs some concert experience research help

I quote you the mail sent to me from one of the librarians here at UCI:

hey ned,

i'm doing some research for a friend of mine who is looking for stories about people's concert-going experiences and i
was wondering if you could point me in the right direction of some good sites or anything else that would be helpful. i'm
looking for accounts of funny or weird or amazing stuff that happens to people during a concert -- like the person is pulled
out of the audience and taken backstage with the performers, or has something dramatic happen to them.

I already thought of Metal Sludge as containing a few stories here and there, but would there be anything more specific?

This is hardly wild or anything, but on one of Elvis Costello's solo acoustic tours in about 1989, he had a guy dressed up in a wolf costume running through the crowd and dragging people up on stage to request songs. I was at the show, but didn't get dragged up. One of my friends did, though (probably because she was kind of cute and was standing in the front row shouting, "pick me! pick me!"). So she gets up on stage and she and Elvis exchange a few pleasantries and then he asks her what song she wants to hear. The crowd's screaming out various suggestions, with a noisy consensus for "Watching the Detectives." My friend confidently says, "The Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes." Elvis frowns and says, "What?" My friend repeats her request. Elvis frowns some more and says, "I don't know that one. How about 'Watching the Detectives'?" My friend says, "No, 'The Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes.'" Elvis shrugs and says, "I don't know it." "You wrote it!" my friend says, not at all happy. "OK, 'Watching the Detectives,'" Elvis says. The crowd cheers, and my very annoyed-looking friend is led back offstage by the wolf. She was still pissed off when I saw her the next day.
