Most satisfying free Microsoft game ever? Though I really wanted to say that I have now managed to win 23 games in a row - is this some sort of record?

This is the thread where you boast about similar achievements (especially on Windows games which we can then try and beat when we should be working).

Must be the world pedantry record.

Many people fear the power of the number 23!

I'm kind of addicted to tetris, but not really. I keep starting to play, and playing well for about five minutes with dogged determination, then all of a sudden it's like I just completely lose interest, and think 'what are these shapes anyway?' and pick up my book. And it's not like I stop because I'm annoyed - I usually stop when I'm doing well because it's so boring.

also, with freecell, getting 23 wins in a row is also a matter of not getting THE GAME during those 23 wins.

It has actually been proven that there is one game (#11982) that is impossible to win, no matter how good you are!

Well, that's my lunch hour activity sorted...

smee (smee), Tuesday, 25 November 2003 10:50 (twenty-two years ago)

if you take a long lunch, you can even give these games a go!!!

ken c, Tuesday, 25 November 2003 10:53 (twenty-two years ago)

ohmygod! I'll never get any work done again!

smee (smee), Tuesday, 25 November 2003 10:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Tits. We had a complete network outage this morning so all I could do was play games. I did not understand how Freecell worked although years ago I'm sure I managed it. All gone now.
