July 5th (i.e. THIS THURSDAY) at Club Latino, Oxford, 10pm - 2 am, £3 to get in and it's dead easy to get there and back on the bus. Pre-club drinks this time to be had in the Angel And Greyhound, which is about 4 doors up from Club Latino.
Club Sussed: It's an indie nite but it's actually good!

Success of club in Oxford may - who knows - lead to a club in London? Failing that there's always Triggerfest in August.

Triggerfest - huge festival of fun and laughter which I don't actually think anyone's done anything about setting up. 1st weekend in August, basically.

I have it on good authority that the playing of a LLOYD COLE RECORD is planned by one of the DJs (not me). Maybe the Pinefox could be encouraged from his den...?
I was interested in the Triggerfest until I found out it had nothing to do with Roy Rogers.

sorry I can't come tonight either, tomorrow is pay-day, consequently I have much less than no money at the moment.

Post the full story, and NOW!
are you banned from the Oxford Tube? Will DG ever speak to you again? I bet you're glad you're going out with a solicitor!
GOODGRIEF.

I should really learn to drive, I guess, since right now the 20 miles to Oxford / 12 miles to the nearest record shop might as well be 20 light years for all the possibility there is of getting there outside bus times. Still, at least I can bus to the shops and back on a Saturday; better than a lot of places round here. (Do not be fooled by the cover of XTC's "An English Settlement" into thinking that living in the SW corner of Oxon might be cool. It's resolutely dud, with absolutely nothing at all of interest apart from said weirdly- shaped chalk horse which might not even be a horse, and feels even more dud for the fact that I should have escaped by now and nearly did but not quite.)
So. What happened? What did I miss? Was there an erection section? What happened on the Oxford Tube? Did you see the elusive A&G cat? Etc.

However, I think I have been banned from Riding The Red Bus. In the future I will have to use the blue bus, which doesn't even pretend to have toilets in the first place. This terribly state of affairs has resulted in the fact that to get to Radiohead tomorrow, I am going to have to ride down on the EMI coach with the liggers and the record company a***holes.
Oh, did I mention? Someone gave us tickets for Radiohead tomorrow. Regrets to Sarah and the Brixton picnic, but you know... Thom Yorke is excessively good looking and all.
Ever since it was mentioned that Radiohead will be on South Park, all I can imagine is Thom Yorke sitting down somewhere, able only to utter the word: "Thommy!".

I'd be surprised if they could manage to ban people when they don't ever seem to ask for ID or anything. Maybe it's just that they don't ever ask me for student ID because, since I'm approximately three inches tall, look about 6 years old, wear the world's sloppiest clothes, and look like I only just got up at 4pm and would generally not get up until hours later, it's fairly obvious that I'm not too old for studentdom. But I should probably stop this before I end up looking rude again, if I haven't already. Er. Yes. Sorry.
