I'm guessing there's a sexual divide here. Most men, I'm assuming, either have sex regularly or masturbate regularly or do both. But my assumption would be that for women who aren't in sexual relationships, some masturbate regularly but a significant minority or maybe even majority don't at all or only infrequently. actually, heroin use numbs the sex drive, so you'd wind up with less people masturbating, so then the masturbator levels would decrease as drug use increased (if we were to keep the numbers of both the same). but then with less 'bators we'd have less druggies & fewer people on drugs = more "hornys" - then the numbers would rise again and jesus christ...

In my experience, women seem to have better orgasms. I've heard this from other people also. (of course, it's impossible to ever compare objectively, or even subjectively for that matter)

Also, when women masturbate they have the option of using dildos and vibrators of varying degrees of complexity. While some women claim to find this idea irksome, many swear by them and often sing their praises. Men can use these things too, but they don't stimulate (what is for many men) their main erogenous zone - the penis itself. (sure fake vaginas and the like exist, but they're never as good as your own hand - let alone an actual partner)

A friend of mine went 9 months without masturbating. He said that after a month or so he stopped thinking about it.
