How do you act when you (or your partner) can't get it up?

I am a complete child, I sulk, I'm selfish, I get aggressive (verbally), I feel deeply humiliated. My girlfriend is unfailingly nice about it, which makes things worse.

To put it mildly, I'm really not at my best on such occasions.

it was more annoying when my boyfriend could not get it down
