Documentary about Gallo on (uk) channel4 tonight(7.30pm) - according to the show's director the programme started out based on an article Vince wrote for Grand Royal Magazine but ended up being about his attempts to avoid being involved in the film in any way. Apparently Follows him to the Cannes Premiers of The Brown Bunny where they find him in a foul mood. This should be fun!

The one where he uses DJ Spooky as a talent reference and refers to Dale Peck as "Dale 'H like in Homo, I like in In-his-ass, and V like in Virus' Peck" ?

Jed, how was it?

When is Brown Bunny being released?

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Monday, 1 December 2003 01:53 (twenty-one years ago)

The programme was terrible - they had nothing on Gallo at all. It was filled with horrid Library footage and they had an actor speaking words as if it was a real interview over this crappy looking footage. it wasnt gallo's words even. Worst of all the actor "doing" Gallo wasn't even American and couldn't do the accent - it was like when the late review get an English bloke to narrate snippets from an American book. The programme was straining to be funny but was just plain terrible. Bad Bad Bad.

M Matos (M Matos), Monday, 1 December 2003 02:47 (twenty-one years ago)
