I literally have the proverbial cold feet

Especially in the winter, I sometimes feel like I'm walking on ice cubes. Walking for at least 15 minutes warms them up, but the effect lasts for 90 minutes tops. Obviously I have poor circulation. Fix me.

wool socks?

make sure your shoes aren't too tight, tight shoes will block what circulation you have. Buy a nice pair of boots with room for a nice thick pair of socks. Lots of foot massage to stimulate the circulation.

You gotta get that circ goin. Have you tried running? It has nice residual effects...

DUDE I relate completely, it's a family thing, we all have fucked up feet I swear. I bought some really thick socks recently though and I am rocking them daily and it seems to work. Mind you sometimes my feet just go ice cold, I have to put them on a radiator or something, it's so uncomfortable. I have particular problems in the car but it does have a feet heater.

I've got thick cotton socks, but my feet still get cold. Running is kind of out of the question b/c of a hip injury. I can't remember how effective it was when I was able to jog, though.

Get wool socks!

Cotton is no good at all, any sweat your feet make will be kept next to the skin, get wool or artificial fibres.

That's on the to do list then.

Shoes are of little consequence since I don't wear them in the house.

I know that exercise will help, but I'm looking for specifics, e.g. what kind of aerobic exercise, how long for results, and so forth.
