Alex K (Alex K), Monday, 1 December 2003 13:13 (twenty-one years ago)

That was totally appropriate. Dickhole.

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Monday, 1 December 2003 13:13 (twenty-one years ago)

"dickhole"??

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 1 December 2003 13:19 (twenty-one years ago)

i try to use grandparent money on plane tickets, train tickets or hotel rooms. that way i can say 'wow, grandpa, i used your money on a trip to rome!' and he's impressed, and a good excuse to book a holiday.

or LOTS of chrismas candy

colette (a2lette), Monday, 1 December 2003 13:23 (twenty-one years ago)

take your grandpa out for a meal with the $100, he'd be so touched. THEN you can really milk him for cash.

Investment, what a beautiful word...

ken c, Monday, 1 December 2003 13:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Surely "inheritance"?

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 1 December 2003 13:39 (twenty-one years ago)

that's if you poison the meal.

ken c, Monday, 1 December 2003 13:56 (twenty-one years ago)

maybe i'm just bitter cos i don't get cash out of my Grandad. seriously tho, spend half on a thoughtful gift for him (something he can use, enjoy and remember) and half on you (same deal)

stevem (blueski), Monday, 1 December 2003 13:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Off you go, to spend it all on penny whistles and moon pies . . .

mookieproof (mookieproof), Monday, 1 December 2003 14:06 (twenty-one years ago)

do you guys in the US have an equivalent of penny sweets (sweets that cost a penny each - "cent sweets" just don't sound right...)? £100 can buy you 10000 and that'd just be the greatest.

ken c, Monday, 1 December 2003 14:38 (twenty-one years ago)

we have ten cent sweets. so that's 1000 i guess. but they're bad. i like the travel idea.

Maria (Maria), Monday, 1 December 2003 15:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Monday, 1 December 2003 15:53 (twenty-one years ago)

That dollar to euro post sure was a kick to the nads. I felt the pinch in Germany this summer.

Im thinking Mann is onto something...maybe some highlights...or a hot oil treatment....

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Monday, 1 December 2003 16:00 (twenty-one years ago)

or the hot fudge cake treatment.

g-kit (g-kit), Monday, 1 December 2003 16:06 (twenty-one years ago)

is nobody going to ask me if that's a euphemism?

g-kit (g-kit), Monday, 1 December 2003 16:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Either way...diarhea cha-cha-cha.

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Monday, 1 December 2003 16:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Monday, 1 December 2003 16:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Funny Pants? (Kingfish), Tuesday, 2 December 2003 16:08 (twenty-one years ago)

Saturday? I'm in Friday night but I don't think you wanna be there for that.

Allyzay, Tuesday, 2 December 2003 16:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Ok. Sunday is going to be busy...Tony and Lewke are going to the Ravens/Bengals game then the Ryan Adams show. Shall be a totally sweet weekend.

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Tuesday, 2 December 2003 16:10 (twenty-one years ago)

On the airplane last night I sat right next to this little boy, about maybe 9 or 10, who looked EXACTLY like Tony! Except a little kid. He stared at me the entire flight and eventually he told me he was bored and so I lent him my headphones and he listened to the Band, which somehow seemed to unbore him though I can't imagine how the Band could unbore a 9 year old. I totally forgot to tell Tom this, holy shit. It was so weird, it was like the only good thing about my godawful flight. Anyway this Saturday is totally on. We should start early.
