i am the municipal liasion for new york city, which means i get to organize events and stuff. and it also means i get to snooker you all into it ... ;)

My novel will be about robots, the weather and hair metal.

It is a basic instinct of human kind to treat a narrator as a God and really, I am flattered but I'm neither benevolent or omniscient. The reality is I am much more like a child's sparkler on November fifth, pretty and exciting in bursts, dangerous if allowed near the stupid and celebrating acts of idiocy or conspiracy rarely cared about now time has passed.

That sounds like a plot point I can use. :)

each part is conceived as an element of the whole but the whole is conceived as one made of many intersecting, cantilevered parts, so that the relationship between the whole and its constitutive elements is mutually dependent in such a way that the energy that drives the movement of the plot seems to transcend the continuous symmetry of action within the physical system of motion that the book metaphorically describes and embodies.

Doing it. Not officially though. It's mostly word puke at the moment, but that's kinda how I work anyway.

Are there usually separate threads per year? If so, go ahead and start one. If not, keep it here, I guess. I'm not actually signed up on the official site - tried to do it on the 1st but I think it crashed under the weight of traffic. Am off out now and probably not able to write much until after the weekend, so I shall see how I'm feeling about it then and see if I can still sign up.

Yeah, there's been a separate thread each year by the looks of the archive. I suppose I'll start the 2010 once since no one else has.
