I heartily recommend it but I'm also curious as to how funny a non-Irish person would find it.

See Do You See. I liked it but it seemed a bit too kitchen sink(er)y to be loved. Reminded me of This Years Love somehow, everyones story had to be neatly wrapped up at the end.

But Colin Farrell in the opening sequence is tremendous, and the kid who throws stones is evil encarnate.

i'm curious to see the british and american reaction too. whoever was in charge of the wardrobe for the film deserves props for the way they dressed colin farrel - great!

Yeah, the real star of the film was the jumper.

There was an allegation that the film was sponsored by Chef (= Dublin's main brand of brown sauce)

Oh Pete since you asked on NYLPM the girl with the RONNIE had a much better Irish accent than Kelly McDonalds's leprechaun one. Neither were that bad.
