Its not totally legit. The guy had to be running a total invincibility code to do what he did (esp. during the final fight with Bowser). I mean, if any of us had the same cheats, we could play through in 11 minutes as well.

There's a couple of addresses at the end of the video, one of which doesn't work, the other leads you to http://soramimi.egoism.jp/emu.htm whose Japanese text roughly translated by babelfish reads:

i.e. he played on an emulator with the game slowed down to 1/30th of normal speed, as well as using lots of position saving. And he's sorry if you think that's cheating.

I knew a guy who could beat Mario 1 in a couple minutes, but I'm sure that's less impressive. I would like someone to just tell me how to keep my NES from freezing when I've almost beat a game. Or at least how to get it to decide to freeze once I have invested less in the game I'm playing.
