Not really. More like danger flashes, usually brought on by 'good' feelings as well. If I've had a really spectacular day -- I mean just action-packed, people-filled, fast, warm, euphoric -- and I can feel the day's momentum getting even better, I'll do stupid things like jaywalk through fast, busy three lane traffic with my hand up thinking "There's no way they won't slow down, I mean look at the weather! And my skin!"

Are you Shaft?

I find that walking in the sunshine with your headphones on playing very uplifting "strutting" music can inspire delusions of invinvibility too, mostly because the headphones' sensory cocooning effect.

No, I'm not Shaft, but I do get into great adventures where I have to find stuff!

Here's another one. You take a really long hot shower before you go out and feel impervious to cold. So wearing a seive-like woven hemp sweater to the ice rink should be fine!

yeah taking a big pile of benzos can have a similar effect too

You take a really long hot shower before you go out and feel impervious to cold.

This sounds like a great role playing game!

I do this kind of shit all the time. Either when in a very good mood or in a very bad mood.

Good mood: I've been dodging traffic all week as I just got some big ass new headphones so I feel double invincible, protected both by the music and by my cans.

Bad mood: I stood waaaaay out on the kerb waiting to cross the road this morning sort of toying with the idea of seeing how close I could get to car wing mirrors. I am not in a good mood today, even though I have new headphones.
