The Gorging Instinct

I rush things I should slow down and enjoy. Soft serve ice cream, for one: I bite right into it and finish fast. If I see people licking ice cream and taking like half an hour to finish a regular cone it's like protracted agony for me, plus in a nameless way I am 'diappointed' in said person. I don't think a piece of Toblerone or any chocolate for that matter has ever melted in my mouth for one second before I start gnashing in ecstacy. I guess I just go for it. If I want to clean out my mouse and the wires are jumbled in the back of my desk, I'll instinctively just YANK at it in horror, knowing full well it'll just make things worse. I'm one of those people that enjoy but also dreads chewing very flavorful bubble gum because I'll be emotionally crushed knowing that I can't just go ahead and swallow it. Anyone else like this?

See "10 Seconds To Love" (Motley Crue, Shout At the Devil, 1983.)

See also, "C/D: Reaching orgasm as quickly as possible". Or hasn't that been a thread yet? Same instinct IMHO.
