I'm tired of walking around looking like I've been punched in the face.

So tell me what product I can buy that will solve all my problems. I'd prefer to not just conceal the darkness, but to heal them somehow.

ILx, TELL ME WHAT TO DO!

Chris (formerly poops) photoshopped them out of one of my pix, but sadly that did not affect my appearance IRL.

Avoid all purported miracle cures with proven night-after results. All they do to achieve those results is tighten your skin temporarily, usually so hard the rings are more pronounced after use.
I use an Obagi Nu-Derm + Retin A regimen that works great because it actually speeds up the exfoliation/repair cycle of your skin, although the first three days you may experience redness and sensitivity. It's not cheap, though, and that's putting it mildly. Don't buy the entire set; buy the toner and "Blender" cream, the cleanser + "clear" prep-gel if you feel like it. There's also the matter of getting a Retin A prescription. Go to obagi.com to find a dealer.

Thanks, Dancing Queen. IT's something that's been bothering me for quite a while and I see it everytime I look in the mirror.

PS I've been using this system for three years after being tipped off by my cousin, who works in dermatology, was raving all day about it. Her practice ships direct to my doorstep, though I already maxed out the family benefit discount thing ages ago.

Max Factor pan stick is the only cure.

sarah try cutting out yeast and sugar from your diet. it sounds trickier than it really is, and usually not only reduces dark circles but helps you to feel fabulous when you awake each morning! if you cant face totally going without, try cutting down ie: try different bread types and always check the label ingredients to make sure you at least buy lower voltage stuff.
and um.....sleep, no alcohol ( or minimise it ) will also help :-)
by the way i have finally started to make some clothing for my son and have even had people ask me for it! here we go 'razzle dazzle' dynasty. thanks for the great name!

um, how long have you had them?

Dark circles under your eyes can also mean dehydration. Making sure that you drink plenty of water is cheap, easy, and may fix your problems.

Top Super Models apparently use Preparation H (yes, the haemorrhoid cream). (seriously!)

I once saw this girl a couple of years younger than me with horribly dark rings under her eyes and I thought they were pretty hot on her. Of course, I could always wait and enjoy that look when I'm 60.

MAC Fast Response Eye Cream helps, it is not too expensive either.

I thought prep h was for bags under the eyes, not circles? Iron deficiency is one cause of darkness under eyes, I think.

allergies can be a major source for them too. also dehydration (which was mentioned upthread)

i know you love your cats. are you allergic?
