yeah, i saw this movie last night and to tell you the truth, its was really good. patricia clarkson has really shown some talent this year in all the real girls and this one. katie holmes turns out to be a decent actress. definitely surpassed all of my expectations.

I was going to go to the Angelika to see 21 Grams Tues. afternoon - should I see Pieces of April instead? I was hoping for a wider release, but c'est la vie.

havent caught 21 grams yet, but its a matter of preference i am sure, they are mostly likely very different movies. that being said, i was a huge fan of amores perros and if i had the choice of those two, i would have probably went for 21 grams.

I thought it was pretty good, but it's hard for me to say how I thought it was good because I'd sound a bit patronising. Nice little film etc.

just saw it and it was very good. much better than I'd expected. I wasn't prepared for how low budget it was and appreciated it all the more because they did such a good job with limited resources (low grad DV for instance). I wanted to slap the little sister.

Wow, this was short. And totally predictable, but I didn't care. (As soon as she got involved with the neighbors you just knew they were all coming for dinner somehow.)
