I have been getting a lot of solid hours out of Vice City while I wait to go fly to America to see the girlfriend.

Tell me about your greatest murderous sprees in the game. How much damage did you cause? How did they manage to take you down? Did you feel weird for being rewarded for taking out hundreds of people?

yeah, fuck that media-hyped bit of gameplay noise. it's all about jumping the city bus(the "Coach") over a ramp, and hitting it so that it rotates 360 deg in the air in slo-mo.

Once I got up on the roof of some building and there must have been something special about it cause even after I got, I don't know, five of six stars and there were tons of police and FBI down on the ground running into each other and blowing their cars up, the only thing that the game ever threw at me was a couple of swat guys from a helicopter every once in awhile. Oh, and there was a bullet proof vest nearby that I could go get whenever my armor got low.
That was like the perfect spot.

when my friend played it for the first time, she had FAR too much getting the bike up to full speed, and them ramming something so that the dude flew. you could hear her laughter from several rooms away.

one year passes...

Mayhem high point = 3 star wanted level, getting knocked into the water in car next to a bridge by cops, getting out of the car before you drown and standing on its roof, then watching an endless parade of cops jumping into the water and drowning, + cop cars going over the edge in a doomed attempt to get you. ("endless" = until the police chopper pwnz you, of course.)
