OK Anthony, less media. First fancied boy was Jeff Nathanson, fifth grade. Jewish Keanu Reeves by looks, good brain. Had the same birthmark on the same arm as I did. Teacher besotted with him, and nasty to me because...well, so was I (she was a weird lady, spinster heiress to provincial supermarket fortune earning pin money in the public sector - - who needs Tennessee Williams?). Just really cutting martinet behaviour and lots of brow-beating. Here I was feeling maligned and thick and filthy (I got so depressed I didn't wash my hair for ages), in front of this gorgeous boy and it was torture (later I'd regain some dignity, when the standardised tests came back). I was also up to my eyeballs in Oscar Wilde and the Judy Blume book about wet dreams. It all came to a head one day when the teacher accused me of something I didn't do, which mortified me because she did it in front of Jeff. Got called a liar, had enough, shouted at her, she told me to leave the room but I went one better, grabbed my coat and didn't stop walking until I got home. So unprecedented they didn't even have a punishment for it.

I remember, it was in a dream. When I was 10 or 11, maybe after I had already kissed a boy. This dirty little boy in my class who looked like a weasel, kind of like a devoted sharp nosed dog. We were lying on melted tarseal in front of the school, it was just a kiss. HIs hair was kind of dirty blonde and greasy. His parents mustn't have cared about him at all. The funny thing is that i lost my viriginty at 14 but the first explicit sexual thought i had was when i was 16. I was in a pysch ward and was much better at reading then most so i had this man come in three days a week, we sat in a room together talked, read and occasionly worked on other school stuff. He was tall and had a hairy chest and always wore chinos and a polo shirt . he was kind and gentle and i told him everything . He was also genourosu buyign me candy or a coke .
