nicest airport i've ever been to: minneapolis.

The new Air Train to Newark is nice. It's like YesterTomorrowland. Also, much less crowded flights.

Midway is great because it's right on the Orange Line. You get off the plane and right away you get all the crazy Chicago street name stops.

The food courts are terrible at these airports. Which US airport has the best food? Why do I think it is Seattle?

Memphis Intl. Airport has a Corky's BBQ in the terminal!!!!!!!!!!!!

Selected departing United flights will serve Corky's for lunch/dinner.

Sea-tac has the second best airport name.

Midway has been renovated/remodeled, it has a food court now, and it's not nearly as bad as it used to be.

Specifically it's 12:42p to 5:20p, arriving terminal A on American, departing terminal B on Alitalia.

The Denver airport is kinda weird and sprawly put ultimately pretty pleasant to be in. I really like airports though.

Egans in Montclair. They brew their own beer, try the lager, very tasty on a hot day. Decent food too. Montclair is also easy to get to via NJTransit.

Also home to the Montclair Book Center, one of the better book stores in the country. An art museum, decent movie theaters, thai food, indian food, ethiopian food, middle eastern food and a few so-called "NY quality" restaraunts, including one called Table 8 which was really fantastic. There's also a few record stores like Let it Rock and Cafe Soundz, but unfortunately no more Crazy Rhythms or the used place that was around the corner from it.

There's so much awesome, weird stuff tucked away in the Northeast NJ cities ... the weird thing is, you can't even find pictures or info about it online. Doesn't help that a) Anyone from outside Northeast Jersey says, "that area's gross it has Italians! hey I have to be at the newark airport tomorrow morning and I am a po' boy taking public transit (from queenz) - which google says means going to penn station and then getting off at some newark station and taking a bus to the airport. has anyone done this before? how long will this really take?

I have done this before but I think I took the train from penn to Newark instead of the bus - I don't think there was much hassle iirc. never tried the bus from penn station. wouldn't be a bad idea to give yourself a lot of buffer though in case of rush hour traffic etc.

Yes, I take this line multiple times a week. You want the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor going to Trenton. You buy a ticket to Newark Int'l Airport, and there's a skybus that takes you from the train station stop to the terminal.

I mean you have to take a monorail to get to the airport proper. But you don't need to take a bus. Go to http://njtransit.com they will help u

pretty sure EWR has its own train stop - don't remember taking a bus once I got there. but maybe there was one of those weird airport buses with no seats? it was about 3-4 years ago, sorry that I'm fuzzy on the details.

doesn't have to be ne corridor line iirc--nj coast line also services airport I believe. At Penn station, on the departures screens, any train that says "ewr" goes to the airport.

We ended going to a place my wife’s friend suggested: O Pipo Tavern where we had a Portuguese seafood fest platter for 2 ( that was enough for 3) and a chorizo sausage appetizer where the waiter lit up and flamed the long sausage and then cut it up for us . Good tasty stuff. Crowded restaurant for lunch with mostly Portuguese speakers
