enigmatic proclamations on cars

I just saw a car which on first glance looked like a non-black-cab taxi, with adverts for n0rwich uni0n insurance on it

on closer inspection - it wz stopped at the lights where i wz crossing - it actually said "n0rwich uni0n [forget-this-word, sorry] insurance: don't believe the lie, don't fall into the trap" - and then a phone number, presumably to explain what the lie and the trap were

What was the number

What was the lie.

What was the trap?

(ps i am better i think but not 100% still - i had a brilliant long dream abt being spike from buffy last night, and my still searingly painful tummy was in fact my vampire nature which i wz battling to conquer!!)

i didn't have a notebook w.me pete, so i can answer none of those qs

it strikes me that this kind of advert is i. actionable, and ii. useless

Possibly in the petty hours of spray painting by the cab driver it might have been
iii. satisfying.

(Norwich Union have diddled a lot of cab drivers - boo flippin' hoo - over very cheap insurance which then did not seem to pay out much when the cheapskates asked them to chirp up).

That is bizarre. I saw somethign just like it yesterday. Sign saying "WATCH OUT FOR MET LIFE!" on a white van. Is norwich somehow connected to Met Life?

We were driving home along this narrow country road the week before last, when we saw this little sign sticking in the grass verge, like a little bit of flat wood. It had a question mark on it. I thought it was teh funney, but Jill got REALLY freaked out by it.

The "cleverer" adverts get, the more they annoy me, I find.

I've been really annoyed by the "please refrain from licking this bus" ads lately. Like I would lick a routemaster. I mean, not even if it had a larger than lifesize picture of Julian Casablancas' butt on it.
