Me and Vicky have spur of the moment booked a weekend in Malmo at the end of January (thanks to Ryanair's flight sale). What should we do apart from freeze our asses off?

1) find that girl from Lilya 4-Ever
2) stray far from the center of town, end up in an arab neighborhood, get offered drugs, eat a slice of pizza, check out an alright record store.
3) if you are into design and furniture it's not a bad place to be.

Vic, that would be marvellous, ta. Mary, the average temperature for Malmo in January is below 0, can we do a cruise on a boat with a roof (and maybe a bar?)

I'd say go to Copenhagen or Lund. I liked Lund. Partly because that's where I first saw the Make Up and they rocked my "ass". And Nina Persson (resplendent in PVC trousers) asked me for a light, turning me into a gibbering wreck. Malmo itself was slightly disappointing, although we had a good night out in La Coronne (Eggstone's bar). Nice falafel too. We also drove to a Baltic beach, which was um, bracing.
