articulate children c/d

i watched the news last night of this 13 yr british girl who is going to be on Peter Pan the film, she seems very well spoken and everything but the fact that she was so articulate really annoyed me.

But surely that's better than your typical dumbass kid who knows about three different syllables (i.e. "uhhhh" "whurrttt?" "errrR"), yet such dumbasses never seem to annoy me to quite the same degree.

c/d?

She gets to act alongside a Ludivine Saignier Tinkerbell so I am envious.

I prefer articulated children though.

Smart kids who can talk and hang with adults in conversation are classic, especially if they do some really goofy kid-like thing shortly thereafter.

The more they act like me the better. Ideally we just sit around and read books and scorn the childish activities from the others in the room (children and adults of course).

ludivine's pixie ears won her the part, I bet.

I saw that young girl on the news too, and I think that two words explain that particular form of articulacy: Stage school.
See also the eyes opened as wide as humanly possible to connote intense enthusiasm.

But for the grace of god she could have been an S-Club Junior.

Articulate children usually turn out to be raving mentalists when they grow up.

i opened this thread, all prepared to write stories of preternaturally articulate children, and then nick had to go an mention ludivine sagnier and i lost my train of thought.
