El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Thursday, 11 December 2003 22:12 (twenty-one years ago)

I can have that advert playing on 4 or 5 monitors at once.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 11 December 2003 22:14 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm surprised Jimmy Swaggart is still even broadcast as a preacher any more what with the motel rooms full of prostitutes and everything.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 11 December 2003 22:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Eisbär (llamasfur), Thursday, 11 December 2003 22:19 (twenty-one years ago)

and a gadget to turn potatoes into spirals

Ed (dali), Thursday, 11 December 2003 22:57 (twenty-one years ago)

So who is this John Abdo guy and how would I have heard of him?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 11 December 2003 23:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Jack LaLane is badass. He could swim across a lake towing a hundred rowboats with his teeth. Wearing a jumpsuit.

andy, Thursday, 11 December 2003 23:31 (twenty-one years ago)

John Abdo has a teleshopping segment he promises instant abs in three easy steps.

Ed (dali), Friday, 12 December 2003 07:30 (twenty-one years ago)

So how's the new job, Ed? Should I ask?

HRH Queen Kate (kate), Friday, 12 December 2003 08:59 (twenty-one years ago)

So Nat West is a televangelist?

David A. (Davant), Friday, 12 December 2003 10:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Grrr! I have just made my 16th, 17th and 18th call to BT in the last 8 days. I was somehow off their surftime package again, and have had no explanation why. It took ages of talking to idiots to get back on, but apparently I won't be able to get my email downloaded (or send any) until after midnight. I'm promised a call back from a more senior person within 48 hours, which apparently means it will be on Tuesday.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 12 December 2003 19:30 (twenty-one years ago)

What's step 2?

Casuistry (Chris P), Friday, 12 December 2003 19:32 (twenty-one years ago)

step 2 and three appear to be the video and book that come with Instant Abs.

Ed (dali), Friday, 12 December 2003 19:36 (twenty-one years ago)

If I buy them and keep them under my pillow will that work?

Casuistry (Chris P), Friday, 12 December 2003 19:37 (twenty-one years ago)

I have mixed feelings about work. It's very disorganised which is good and bad; I can make myself indispensable very quickly and streamline a load of things, on the down side training which I 'completed' today was atrociously organised and I feel there's a hell of a lot of stuff I ought to know but haven't been taught, but I'm being mentored through the rest of the month so it might come good.

I've got to learn how to write VB excel macros to make a very laborious task very easily (it something I could do very easily as a perl, shell or Apple script, but its a PC only office. But there's no way I'm going to catalogue 2000+ DVD-Rs by hand.

Ed (dali), Friday, 12 December 2003 19:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Tellyvangelists

but he was GREAT in the Dirty Dozen!
