Victoria B.C. Fap 12/23 - 12/24?

So, I will be on Vancouver Island between the 23rd and the 27th for Xmas vacation. I will have a couple of free roaming days in downtown Victoria that day.

Now, I know there have been Vancouver BC postings here, mostly by lurkers. And there's a 50/50 chance that those peoples' family live in Victoria. So, I'm giving this thread a candle of hope.

(Sadly, I feel I will be unloved FAPwise. But at least I will be stuffed with gargantuan amounts of vegan food and imported British candy)

ur, "that day" = "that week" in first sentence.

I wish I could remember the name of the place where I had breakfast there, it was good. Something like the Blue Fox or something with blue in the name?

I will ask my cousin there about a "Blue" place. However, it might be a conflict of interest, because my cousin and her husband run a restaurant themselves there called the Knockanback Grill. Heh, i hope i don't offend them too seriously. ;)

Victoria has the best bar ever.. Big Bad Johns. Free salted peanuts with shells, and the entire ceiling is bras filled with those emptied peanut shells. stence, next time you manage to tour there again, that's a great hangout.

And those two vegan restaurants in question: The Lotus Pond and Green Cuisine. Best vegan food ever.

I think they'd only be offended if they expected you to eat there for every meal.

Maybe there's a show on at Logan's Bar? It's a nice little dive-y place but if you eat there, don't try the burrito!

hstencil, Monday, 15 December 2003 06:39 (twenty-one years ago)

ha, "next time you manage to tour there again." sigh.

hstencil, Monday, 15 December 2003 06:40 (twenty-one years ago)

haha, i think i'll be allowed to eat at other places.. i was being silly.

and also I was trying to give you hope in regards to another touring gig. You never know.

DB, I have friends (not family) over on the Island, but I might be in the Interior for the "holiday season". If I'm in Victoria for those dates, however, I'm up for it.

Watch for updates.

HAPPY FUN SEATTLE WA USA TO VICTORIA BC CANADA VIA WATER AND BOAT THAT GOES VROOM PICS!!!

The morning as I boarded the Victoria Clipper, a high speed boat that travels from downtown Seattle to downtown Victoria. It was 97% cloudy but oddly enough, Mt. Rainier is fully visible. Very Spooky.

Further away, it's eerie how Mt. Rainier stays the same size but downtown Seattle shrinks

It looks like a green and pleasant land.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 8 January 2004 01:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Victoria is the Canadian Carmel/Santa Barbara/Santa Cruz all in one.

donut bitch (donut), Thursday, 8 January 2004 03:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah yeah, make me jealous, just TRY. Oh wait.
