i'm surprised that what with the uk top 10 smash-hit success of 'united states of whatever' mtv didn't revive or repeat the show
over here. odd isn't it ? come to think of it, was it ever actually *on* in the uk ? i know that from time to time there are tiny bits on
mtv2, but most people aren't even aware that '...whatever' originally came from the sifl and olly show in the first place.

mtv2 did repeat it, sort of.
i had access to the channel back in june, and while they didn't put whole shows on, they did use sketches from the show as little ad break fillers and song intros.

We're sorry to say that there is no Sifl & Olly merchandise at this time. Since MTV owns the rights to Seasons 1 and 2, we are not able to produce Season 1 and 2 DVDs. All of the existing merchandise was lost thanks to the management at CDStreet.com.

There may be Sifl & Olly merchandise some day in the future, so check again next year.

suddenly was reminded of this show. i really wish they'd come out with the "Songs of Season 2" on disc. I've only heard that one Liam Lynch solo album "fake songs" which wasn't too good but all the S&O stuff was really great. I can't imagine why MTV would want to hold onto the rights now. It's so different from the kind of stuff they air now it's impossible to think it would make a comeback.
