X To Thread!

This is the thread for alerting another poster to a thread you want them to contribute to BUT there's nothing in the thread title to suggest they'd be reading it so saying "[x] to thread" on the thread might be counterproductive, a long-winded explanation but it might be useful.

The point being that there is some DR WHO TALK on the Weblog Response: Do You See? thread and I think DAN PERRY should join in.

I always wondered: we have unique login names, and real aktual email addresses stored for that webmail business, it would be a great idea to have " to thread" mail poster X.

Wait, so everyone has to constantly monitor this thread, waiting to be called to a thread like Batman with the Batsignal? Everyone to thread.

Well the idea is you'd check it every now and then and you might see something that interested you even if you're not named.

ILX is so vast now, I must be missing out on tons of good stuff while I futilely check the latest idiocies on [insert entirely guessable thread here].

actually if you are clever enough to do rss you could subscribe to the rss feed perhaps? But would you have to subsribe to EACH thread?

Usually, when I call someone to a thread, they show up.
