I broke my computer and lost everything on my hard drive and had to pay out the wazoo to get it fixed! I broke my windshield and had to pay a bunch to get it replaced! I went to the DMV and got told to come back in January with more documents! I spent an hour and a half trying to find the DMV because MapQuest fucked me (DC sucks) and I had to ask two separate people for directions! My paycheck is getting massacred by automatic tax deductions and is not nearly as big as I budgeted! It's also raining!

But I have my health and I have my white russian and my cigarettes and the radiator in my apartment is working and my honey darlin' will be here in about 120 minutes.

My pay slip was made out to the wrong account and no one will be able to sort it till jan 5th. Plus I'm working till 8 in the morning and will be asleep for the part of xmas day I'm not working.

Yeah Ed, I certainly think your current situation is for ass. I have been inclined to express my sympathies on other threads but I have very little good advice and generally I think my sentiments sound crap anyway. Drink lots of water and think about cooking? Hang in there.

I feel better today (so far) than I have the past couple of days so am wondering if I should go out to the family thing.

I'm afraid though that if today's mood cycle follows the past few days I'll start getting manic around 8 or 9pm and completely fucking lose it surrounded by so many people and kids. hmm. this is a hard one to explain to family.

well it's nearly midday & i have the roast on so i can FINALLY SIT DOWN for 20 mins or so but damnit my ex-flatmate has taken just abt ALL the useful xmas things and i'm only just noticing...why does he need the salad bowl? i don't remember him eating a green thing EVER unless gumdrops icecream counts! and ALL the FORKS!

though yes, i do have my health, my sanity (mostly) and a really fuck-off huge carving knife, and four good friends visiting in an hour. still, would be nice to have Dutch-language Spongebob abt now...

Oh it's an electric. I'm not exactly sure what it is. All it says is S101. It's not really a "real" guitar. It's like a beginner thing. I think the neck is shorter than the other guitars'. Still nice though.

No not really. This is my fist guitar. I got books with guitar tabs so I'll see how it goes. Probably the best thing I learned in violin class was how to read music. Takes me a little bit to do it seeing as to how I rarely do it.
