John Woo is turning into Sam Peckinpah circa "The Osterman Weekend".

This movie is receiving generously middling reviews, I've yet to read one that speaks the truth: this movie is by far the worst that Affleck has released in 2003. And that's saying something.

He already made his "Cross of Iron" with "Bullet in the Head".

You're right, "Osterman" was definitely better than "Paycheck". Affleck's career is bottoming out completely.

we went and saw it last night, full of giggles wondering how they could destroy a Philip K Dick story. And DID THEY EVER! Stuff got to blow up! Any bit of intrigue? Uma Thurman must be glad Kill Bill 2 is coming out soon, to wash away the memory of this.
