mitch has informed me that if i don't make it into nyc before he flies back to the foreign lands he will hurt me. so i am going to try to come into the city this weekend, probably saturday. i know maura and geeta said they wanted to come out too, so i figure i'd throw it up to the rest of ilx. i have no idea what we'll be doing or where (hint, hint), but i'd prefer it to be a bit on the early side so i can avoid sleeping over/staying up all night, if i can.

is going to brooklyn out of the question? if it's not, i'd recommend daddy's bar in williamsburg. lots of room, decent prices, great jukebox, hot dogs/tofu pups... it's off the third l stop, which makes it about a fifteen minute trip from union square.

address/directions: daddy's is located at 435 graham ave in williamsburg, brooklyn. take the l train to graham avenue, then walk north on graham towards the bqe. the cross streets are frost and richardson.
