Decent combined printers / scanners

I did a little research before Christmas, and found out a few basics about scanners and printers for a PC. Before I get back to it, anyone here able to recommend a decent model off the bat (I have up to £200)? The printer should be inkjet; separate colour and black cartridges; pixels 4800 dpi; preferably (but not priority) able to print margins; able to print reasonably fast. Sorry such a dry and dreary thread question by the way..

Hi There.
I have a pretty good scanner that was a very good price. It prints, scans and copies and is a HP. It has the dual ink cartridges, as well. I'll locate the price and get back to you.

nine years pass...

I'm doing a ton of scanning for the two weeks--a couple of hundred pages, maybe. The scanner's fairly new. Is that too much in such a short time? Do scanners wear out?
