Those half-and-half milk thermos things they have at coffee shops... I can't figure out how to open them, and then either a trickle or way too much milk comes out. Poorly designed and executed but nobody complains...

When in the San Fernando Valley, opt for Ameci's Pizza and Pasta! Also, Taste Chicago in Burbank at Hollywood Way and Verdugo (Joe Mantegna-owned, slightly overpriced, very good CHicago food place), and Bamboo Village Chinese Restaurant at Coldwater and Magnolia (finest crab rangoons I've ever had!)

Their Super Bowl ad was terrible, but I am receiving the best shave of my life with the Gillette Mach 3 (don't know about Turbo). It has allowed me to reduce my shaving from every other day to every third. (No, I don't have a real job.) I'm not sure if it's actually the three blades or the fact that there's no back so the whiskers get cleaned easier.

"Trim" brand nail clippers, in my experience, cut more cleanly and neatly than "Lacrosse" brand.

"Fresh Step" cat litter forms sturdier and drier clumps than "Tidy Cat" brand.
