But it's bad I think when you start to have appointments with shows, you know. Like if you have one show a week and you joke about it and stuff, that's fine, especially if it's a dramatic series like ER or Coronation street or something... but if there's a show on the schedule 5 nights a week and you find yourselves watching some other random crap while you wait for your real show, oh that's bad. and I guess just the white noise effect of having a TV on in the house for hours even if you're both reading magazines or something.
Anyway this pattern seems to set in after a certain point in all the living-together type situations I've been in. well, both of them anyway. there have only been two. so maybe this is a failing on my part, maybe it's sloth, maybe I'm dull but this TV it's like kudzu now growing over everything and obscuring the view.
