So anyway, I'm top five in the ILM chart but 'bubbling under' the fifty in the ILE chart.

Bit like the difference between the indie chart and the gallup top forty.

So who knows. Another few posts over here and I get to appear on the All New ILE show...

or not.

I could sit here and type to myself (= buying the single in)

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 5 February 2004 14:47 (twenty-two years ago)

If I took one weekday off, I'd drop out of the top five on ILE. Or if maybe I thought before posting once in a while.

that's a point. I'm off tomorrow. What to do.

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 5 February 2004 14:49 (twenty-two years ago)

I remember being all stoked when I cracked the top 50, and then moreseo when I hit the top 20, but now that I'm stuck in the top 5 (top 3, ususally), I feel sorta shitty about it.

But there are some people who post like mad, but don't log in. So it's skewed.

I think that only matters if they also keep changing their name.

Is that c-man bloke not actually registered? his name has no link on the list...

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 5 February 2004 15:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Err, C-Man's gone now isn't he? As in the mods have successfully blocked his IP address so he can't post?

err, Friday, 6 February 2004 03:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Heh.

I've just taken a look at the "users" list. I had to scroll all the way to # 90 to spot where I stood on ILE, and this is the forum I submit more posts to. I think that for awhile there I was a constant presence on the # 40 spot; I suppose Real Life (no, not the Aussie New Wavers who sang "Send Me An Angel") has crept into my own personal hemisphere. Ooh, got me one of those.

Mellow Dee (Dee the Lurker), Friday, 6 February 2004 03:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm #50 on ILE and #69 on ILM. But I'm #28 on ILX overall -- hurrah for I Love Film/Books/Baseball!

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 6 February 2004 03:20 (twenty-two years ago)

I forget about those. Mostly cuz I don't love baseball cricket etcet.

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 6 February 2004 08:37 (twenty-two years ago)

24th overall, blimey!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 6 February 2004 08:56 (twenty-two years ago)

And after this blatant piece of chart rigging, I go down to number sixty four.

mark grout (mark grout), Monday, 9 February 2004 14:39 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't understand how people post without logging in??

Enrique (Enrique), Monday, 9 February 2004 14:44 (twenty-two years ago)

They type in their name?

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 9 February 2004 14:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Test

Erm, Monday, 9 February 2004 14:48 (twenty-two years ago)

OMG, that's easy. Weird.

Enrique, Monday, 9 February 2004 14:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you feel you made yourself vulnerable without need?

mark grout (mark grout), Monday, 9 February 2004 14:50 (twenty-two years ago)

No, I don't get the whole overprotective thing, to be honest. I suppose I maintain limits, but in any case it bugs me when people get personal behind a log-out screen; I don't talk about personal stuff so much either.
