i got Um Jammy Lammy for $seven-fiddy the other day! Master Onion is in that, too!

Kingfish Funyun (Kingfish), Friday, 6 February 2004 19:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Dud of the same magnitude as "Pronto."

martin m. (mushrush), Friday, 6 February 2004 19:21 (twenty-two years ago)

I prefer "stat".

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 6 February 2004 19:27 (twenty-two years ago)

"Stat" is okay, perhaps even classic. "Chop chop," "pronto" and "post haste" are all duds.

martin m. (mushrush), Friday, 6 February 2004 19:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I prefer screaming "SCHNELL! SCHNELL!" like I'm in a german submarine under air attack in the strait of Gibraltar, ordering my crew forward in order to hasten our dive.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 6 February 2004 19:35 (twenty-two years ago)

gygax! (gygax!), Friday, 6 February 2004 19:45 (twenty-two years ago)

"chop chop!" is dud. "hurry hurry hurry!" is classic.

MarkH (MarkH), Friday, 6 February 2004 22:22 (twenty-two years ago)

"Chop chop" appears to be very old. In 'The Madness of King George', attendants alert each other to the king's arrival by shouting 'Chop chop! The king! The king!' in unison. Which is very funny.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Friday, 6 February 2004 22:25 (twenty-two years ago)

It's scary. I hate it. Dud. (I had a boss who used to say this, as well as "put some elbow grease into it." Damn, I hated her.)

Salmon Pink (Salmon Pink), Friday, 6 February 2004 22:45 (twenty-two years ago)

always dud except when i say it. same as "quick like a bunny".

dan (dan), Friday, 6 February 2004 22:51 (twenty-two years ago)

"Quick like a bunny" is neutral. It's neither classic nor dud.

Anybody have an opinion on "Off like a prom dress?"

martin m. (mushrush), Friday, 6 February 2004 22:52 (twenty-two years ago)

CLassic when chinese retaurant chef says "now go away little girl - chop chop!" to Lenore, and so she chops him up and serves him to the patrons :D

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 6 February 2004 22:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought "off like a prom dress" was funny the first time I heard it. When I thought the person who said it made it up. Then I heard it again. And again. Dud.

(Possibly harboring resentment over the fact that I've never actually seen a prom dress come off.)

"Spit Spot!"

stevem (blueski), Friday, 6 February 2004 23:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Trayce, good point. Just about everything is better when it's in Lenore.

martin m. (mushrush), Friday, 6 February 2004 23:08 (twenty-two years ago)

chop chop my ass. and while we're at it quit snapping your fingers at me. THAT'll work.

Donna Brown (Donna Brown), Friday, 6 February 2004 23:36 (twenty-two years ago)

"before we're old" is another one that only works when i say it.

dan (dan), Friday, 6 February 2004 23:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Spencer OTM. I'm so stealing that.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Friday, 6 February 2004 23:59 (twenty-two years ago)

yes another vote for "SCHNELL SCHNELL!" - i would have to do it exactly like in Blackadder IV tho

stevem (blueski), Saturday, 7 February 2004 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

¡Corrale! ¡Corrale! ¡Pronto, pronto!

(I had to hear that. You should have to, too.)

Mellow Dee (Dee the Lurker), Saturday, 7 February 2004 00:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Parappa gets prop for sampling an obscure Can single "Turtles Have Short Legs" for the "Step On The Gas! Step On The Breaks!" second wave.

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 7 February 2004 00:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Parappa just gets props, man.
